Nicole is an advisory company member of the National Disability Theatre. NDT employs professional theatre artists who create fully accessible, world-class theatre.
Nicole is an ambassador for CoApt, a leader in supplying upper- limb prosthetic technology. CoApt is known for aquiring the rich information in muscle signals to enhance the control of commercially available upper limb prostheses.

Nicole is a co-creator and co-host of the podcast, Disarming Disability. This podcast's goal is to deconstruct social stigma for people with disabilities to generate a more understanding and inclusive society.​

Nicole was one of seventeen people chosen as a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force for the Miss America Organization. This task force brought recommendations for inclusive changes to the Miss America board in 2020.
