Meg walked into my life 5 years ago asking me to write a piece for her web blog. I kindly agreed thinking perhaps that would be the end of our relationship. In truth, it was just the beginning. Over the past 5 years I have spent time at Meg's house with her children, speaking in her home's school system, sharing my story at her non-profit's Gala, and sharing countless conversation over the phone or dinner/cheesecake. She is an amazing woman with fierce ideas and a passionate heart. I am so thankful to call her a friend and mentor!
